The Catalan Citizenship and Immigration Board Launches a campaign asking to regularize migrants

jul, 07, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world has not affected everyone equally. One of the most vulnerable groups amid this pandemic are irregular migrants, who have limited access to essential services. The Citizenship and Immigration Board of the Catalan Government – including relevant actors – has launched a campaign to urge the Spanish Administration to regularize all migrants currently living in Spain, ensuring that everyone has access to the primary services, as well as granting better opportunities to all citizens. The declaration asks different levels of public administration, as well as civil society, to undertake a series of actions assuring no one is left behind in overcoming the crisis.
