Specialized protocols

jul, 07, 2020

The Government of the Azores, through the Regional Department for the Communities, establishes protocols that promote the joint action of different public entities and non-governmental organizations. The goal of these protocols is to ensure and stimulate their performance, through the fulfilment of the respective activity plans and the implementation of immigrants’ integration initiatives.

The Regional Department for the Communities of the Government of the Azores also provides financial support to projects from individual or collective non-profit promoters that seek to develop, engage in and carry out activities in the area of immigration with a view to integration, respect for diversity, encouraging artistic creation and enriching the Azores’ cultural heritage. The date to apply is from October 15th to December 15th.

Information on partner bodies and their initiatives is being publicized on the Regional Department for the Communities’ official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/DirecaoRegionalDasComunidades/

Promoting integration, broadening tolerance, stimulating artistic creation, and mainstreaming immigrants’ citizenship are goals that the Government of the Azores intends to pursue, intensify and deepen.
