The region of Murcia adopts measures to face COVID-19 crisis regarding migrants’ situation

The General Directorate of Social Services and Relationship with the Third Sector has promoted comprehensive protection programs for the hosting of migrants in safe houses.

These resources are designed for short or medium stays and offer accommodation, sanitary facilities, maintenance, and other services focused on the promotion of migrants’ social and labour training and integration.

During the COVID-19 crisis, 207 residential places have been made available to cater for the needs of migrants. Moreover, given the exceptional situation, it is allowed to exceed the time limit of the stay.
