On 12 and 13 of February, The REGIN project kick-off meeting took place in Brussels, hosted by CPMR, and gathered representatives from Azores (Portugal), Campania (Italy), Catalonia (Spain), Murcia (Spain), Puglia (Italy) and Skåne (Sweden) regions, as well as representatives from CIDOB, Instrategies and the Migration Policy Group (MPG). The partners discussed how to facilitate, guide and improve the performance of regions on migrant and refugee integration for the following two years (24 months period) of the project.
The second coordination meeting took place on 3 April 2020 and was carried out on an online platform. At the time, the circumstances were slightly different due to the COVID-19 pandemic and one of the issues discussed was how the project should be adapted to the measures implemented in the regions due to the situation.
