As a consequence, on the one hand, the Region has assigned significant resources of “SU.PR.EME. Italia” and “PIU. SU.PR.EME.” Projects, aimed at fighting migrant workers’ exploitation and marginalisation, to the specific goal of carrying out, since mid-October 2020, health screening and Covid tests for the target population of Castel Volturno and Eboli areas, where there is a significant presence of seasonal workers with a migration background. Moreover, the civil society organisations participating in the projects activities are also distributing food aid and personal protective equipment to migrants living in those areas.<\/strong><\/p>\nThese actions have benefited from the further development of the already existing networks created by the ongoing implementation of the Demetra and Pending Projects, respectively aimed at promoting health integration and literacy and mental well-being for both refugees and international protection seekers.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Campania Region confirms its commitment to fostering migrant workers’ integration through the Prima-Vera project and in providing linguistic and civil training and prevent early school leaving through PassaParola and Giovani Campani projects, the latter specifically designed for unaccompanied children.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the Region is supporting civil society organisations in the fight against human trafficking (Fuori Tratta Project) and in the organisation of cultural mediation desks, housing, legal and administrative services both at regional and local level.<\/p>\n
In addition, regional authorities continue to take steps to make access to public services tailored on migrants’ needs as testified to their participation in the Impact, Com&In and Com.In. 4.0 projects,which are trying to orient public services providing in the direction of diversity management and multilevel governance. This process also benefits from Campania\u2019s inclusion in the REGIN Project partnership which, in the months to come, will lead to the dissemination at the regional and local level of useful indicators able to guide regional integration policies.<\/p>\n
