The Government of the Azores is promoting another edition of Cursos de Português para Falantes de Outras Línguas – “Portuguese language courses for speakers of other languages”.
These courses allow foreign citizens to obtain a level A2 language proficiency and it provides them with a wider range of opportunities to communicate with the host society, thus making the disclosure of his/her native land’s identity much more fruitful.
This action promotes the active participation in the Azorean society by all people, being a mission shared by the various public entities, by several associations and by every citizen, as a fundamental actor in the migration process.
